  • Executive search firms can have different fee structures that often vary with the complexity and projected time to fill of each search. Rates can range between 15-30% for positions with larger candidate pools and a time to fill projection of 30-60 days, and rate can climb to 30-50% for roles that require extensive networking and outreach and may take as long as 6-9 months to fill. These roles are often technical experts or high ranking leadership roles. Companies will often retain recruitment agencies to fill the more niche roles to ensure a higher level of commitment and resources.

  • We typically provide recruitment updates within 48-72 hours of an executed recruitment agreement. We believe in quality over quantity... we are not resume pushers!

  • It is commonplace in executive search recruitment to offer guarantee periods for each placement. In the event of an unsuccessful placement, these guarantees often include a free replacement or a refund on the recruitment fee, and often are time bound. The industry standard is known to be 90 days after the candidate’s first day of employment. Some more technical roles, like developer positions, will have a shorter guarantee period because the candidates’ ability to effectively do their jobs is more tangible, whereas, financial professionals or management level candidates often need at least a full 90 days to be evaluated. It is important to align business objectives when engaging executive search firms. Unsuccessful partnerships often arise when there are misaligned expectations.

Ultimately, we encourage candidates to build strong relationships with recruiters, so they can advocate for the candidate to secure interviews and aid in compensation negotiations.
